dc.description.abstractThe present study is concerned with teaching the prefixes and its effect on vocabulary learning of Libyan University English students. Vocabulary is a fundamental bases of every sentences in every language. Student's vocabulary knowledge develops varieties of ways. One of the most popular strategies in vocabulary learning supported by many researchers is using affixes knowledge. Therefore, to obtain a complete picture of vocabulary learning concerning using affix knowledge, it would be desirable to observe the student performance in the light of their knowledge about prefixes. This study investigates the relationship between teaching prefixes and its effect on vocabulary knowledge of 0 Libyan university English Language Learners (ELL) students in Sebha -City were chosen.3ar
