Abstract
This field study was carried out at the sewage artificial lake of Hajjar in Sebha, which lasted for thirty days during the month of March for several hours every day for the purpose of observing the egret in the region and knowing the behavior and feeding system that is aggressing upon it. The results of the observation showed that there are four (4) species The migratory egrets are the Great Egret, the Little Egret, the Cattle Egret, and the Intermediate Egret. The results of feeding behavior also showed the presence of six types of insects, namely the adult water diving beetle Eretes, the water bug Sphaerodema, the predatory water beetle Cybister, The Water Scavenger Beetle, Scarabaeus and Dragonfly, and it was noticed that the egret is active in catching food in the morning times, with the activity of insects that abound and are active on the surface of the water, where the egrets are present in the pond because there is no population movement or the movement of sheep shepherds Near the lake, 'note that its numbers are not more than 13 and not less than 6 during the observation period.
