Abstract
This study investigates the problems facing translation students in translating jokes from English to Arabic
The method used in this research is an assessment translation test consists of 2 text has reference chemistry and physicist terms .
by using dictionaries
The results also show that students struggle to find a way to translate scientific terms by good dictionary into target language.
