Abstract
The formation of hydrates in production, processing facilities and
pipelines has been a problem to the natural gas industry, that cost several
millions of dollars.. There are a large number of investigations about this
phenomenon. Some chemical methods and technologies have been used
in order to inhibit the hydrate formation in pipelines or to predict it.
The aim of research studied the problem of gas hydrate formation in
natural gas transport pipelines, which leads to a blockage in the
transmission line that results in stopping production.
