The aim of this project is to study the inhibitory effect of iron and cobalt complexes on mild steel samples by measuring the weight loss of each sample at a temperature between 30 and 40 °C in a 0.5 M hydrochloric acid solution (HCl). Where complexes are prepared and verified through UV, IR and XRF analyzes. The effect of hydrochloric acid on corrosion and corrosion inhibition of mild steel in 0.5 of hydrochloric acid (HCl) at a temperature (30 and 40 degrees Celsius) in the absence and presence of (Fe and Co) complexes is added. Iron and cobalt complexes were added as inhibitors to mild steel samples at different concentrations for each complex.en_US
