dc.description.abstractThe aims of this research were to find out vocabulary learning strategies applied by the students of English language of Sabha University and also the most and the least frequently applied strategies. This research was designed as a descriptive quantitative. The students were 84 students of faculty of language in Sabha University. The sample of this research was 84 students the questionnaires were Distribute in group of English language students. The instrument was questionnaire adapted from Schmitt’s Vocabulary Learning Strategies Taxonomy. The study finds out that Libyan undergraduates aware of an adequate number of vocabulary learning strategies.
